Came to see Bono sing, not speak words to songs
"I have been a Kool and The Gang fan for over 30 years and have seen many amazing shows. We were truly disappointed and will say that I won't pay that kind of money again to see Kool and The Gang. But we paid A LOT of money and would like to see actual singing, not speaking the words and breaking the timing of the speaking of those words up so we can't even sing along. Everyone loves a good sing-along at a concert, but Bono constantly encouraged the crowd to sing - right from the beginning of the show and regularly throughout. At least warm the crowd up a bit! Bono has either lost his A-game or he didn't bring it. I can understand voice changes as we get older - nothing anyone can do about that. This was exacerbated by terrible sound - unclear and distorted. As for Bono's commentary, instead of asking his audience to donate, he could donate $10 from each of our overpriced tickets and make a huge difference. The Edge, Adam, and Larry rocked it, but Bono needs to act like he wants to be there and not just going through the motions."
